Motivation, however you can get it!

Okay, so we're having a motivational contest at the gym. IHRSA, our lobbying organization, promotes this contest every year and there are about 6 gyms that get a new piece of equipment from it. EVERYONE insists that they aren't competitive, but we soon find out that's not completely true. Each and every one of us has a little bit of a competitive side . . . . One of our contests includes cardio time, so I'm working hard to keep up my end for the team. All this extra cardio means loads more calories burned - which means more food I can eat! I'm on a .5 pound per week weight loss, which means a 250 calorie deficit a day. Because I'm putting in extra time on the treadmill, earning those miles for my team, I find that I'm able to eat more every day to compensate! So I'm adding a couple of my favorite Apex Protein Bars a couple of times a day - quite a yummy treat! It's all about incoming calories compared to calories burned, so if you adjust one number then you need to adjust the second number to be inline with your Target numbers! Gotta love the program!
