Understanding Portions

It’s been a while since I’ve taken the blog out here.  This is ALWAYS a good review for me – restaurants always want to put more and more food on your plate.  So often it’s two and three times what I should consume for one meal.  This helps you learn to eyeball the food on your plate to make a determination as to if you need to ask for a doggie bag before you even start eating.

Great references, like a deck of cards is about 3 ounces and a die is about the size of an ounce of cubed cheese…..

(Of course, when I ask for a doggie bag/box, I mean that it’s a second possibly third meal for me… NOT intended to feed to my animal.)
