I just realized it's been a while since I've done a personal update - it's too late in the day for me to weigh-in today but my last weigh-in was 137.
I'm back to work Full Time now (started back mid January). I've still got quite a scar, but I'm considering it a battle wound and am proud of it. I see the radiologist at the bank fairly regularly and he always makes me smile, because I feel like we share a secret. Pretty much he, my OBGyn, and my doctor are the only locals that really know how serious the whole surgery was (well, my husband, of course).
Still loving life in Key West. We bought a house and started moving in about a month ago, last weekend we were officially out of the rental house. It's nice to live in a house that we own again. Being able to have walls that aren't white or off-white is wonderful!! (of course, only three rooms are painted right now - baby steps, after all I just had major surgery).
The bodybugg is helping me keep the weight that I lost from the surgery off, and being Full Time at the bank is totally helping me burn those calories. I need to get back into the swing of ab and weight-bearing exercises again... I'll be the first to admit that I've found ample excuses between my Full Time job and moving/organizing the new house.
Hope all is well with all of you. Will try to get some more great reading material out a little more often, as well as getting my personal updates out, too!
